No Show Policy
A no-show appointment is defined as a missed appointment on part of the family for which neither good cause, nor 24-hour notice was given. A no show may result in a charge of $25 per missed session. If you incur three or more no-show or missed appointments within a two-month period, all clients will receive a reminder letter of this policy. If attendance does not improve, client/parent will need to call and confirm each appointment.
Non- Emergency Policy
If your child receives speech therapy services in their school setting and the child is absent, it is your responsibility to notify the practice as soon as possible. If you know the evening before that your child will not be in school the next day, it is imperative that you notify the practice PRIOR to the therapist showing up at school/day care. Failure to notify the practice in a timely manner will result in our no-show mark. Refer to no-show policy above.

If our practice is closed, it will be listed on News 12 (channel 612, News12.com), Instagram, Facebook, and on our website. It is understood that some clients may live far away, and while the office may not be closed, you may choose to stay home. Teletherapy
Our practice acknowledges the various benefits of teletherapy. However, teletherapy may only be utilized/requested in the event of legitimate circumstances (i.e., illness of a siblings/parent, weather, etc.). Refer to emergency examples above. If teletherapy is requested, it is your responsibility to notify the practice at least two hours prior to scheduled appointment time. Our practice reserves the right to deny the request of a teletherapy session due to late notice as therapists require ample time to best prepare for a teletherapy session.
