Speech and Language Services

Speech and language services are for those individuals who have speech and/or language disorders. A speech disorder refers to a problem with the actual production of sounds, whereas a language disorder refers to a difficulty understanding or putting words together to communicate ideas. Therapy involves a speech-language pathologist working with an individual on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to overcome difficulties involved with a specific disorder. S.E.E.D.S. provides therapy for individuals with the following disorders.

Earobics Service

This program works to enhance and train children in the area of phonological awareness, a skill that is critical for reading success. Independently conducted research studies document that students who receive instruction with Earobics, achieve statistically significant gains in phonological awareness, phonics, reading comprehension, vocabulary and fluency.
