S.E.E.D.S. Director

Eileen M. Devaney, MS, CCC-SLP,

Eileen Devaney has more than 30 years of experience as a speech pathologist. She has worked in the public school system and has been in private practice since 1983. She received her education and training from Hunter College and Adelphi University. Eileen has attended many conferences and workshops to keep up to date with current speech trends. She attends the annual ASHA conference and is also PROMPT trained. Eileen is also certified in Accent Modification by Compton’s P-ESL. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), New York State Speech-Language Hearing Association(NYSSLHA), Long Island Speech-Language Hearing Association (LISHA), and a member of the American Academy of Private Practice in Speech Pathology and Audiology (AAPPSPA). She is presently the president of AAPSPA. She was recently appointed to the Advisory Board for Pearson Publishing Company. They are a well known company that publishes many of the tests used by our profession. She has received the A.C.E. Award from ASHA for recognition for continuing education studies for the past several years.

Rosanna-Felicione

Rosanna Felicione, MA, CCC-SLP,
Rosanna is a New York State licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She has worked in a variety of settings, treating both children and adults for more than 20 years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Long Island University/C.W. Post College and a Master of Arts from Queens College of the City University of New York. Rosanna holds an initial certificate for Teaching Students with Speech-Language Disabilities (TSSLD). Rosanna is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), New York State Speech-Language Hearing Association, and the Long Island Speech- Language Hearing Association. She received an Award for Continuing Education from the Continuing Education Board of ASHA in 1990. Rosanna is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), New York State Speech-Language Hearing Association, and the Long Island Speech- Language Hearing Association.

Elizabeth Foehr

Elizabeth Foehr, MA, CCC-SLP
Elizabeth earned both her Bachelor’s degree and Masters of Arts from St. John’s University in Speech Language Pathology. She has attended many workshops and conferences to keep up to date with new developments in the speech field. She is trained in both PECS and Dyshagia (feeding). Liz is also trained in a variety of AAC devices and is part of the AAC Evaluation Team in a NYC School. Liz is New York State and ASHA certified as a speech pathologist and teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped. She is a member of American Speech-Language Hearing Association, New York State Speech-Language Hearing Association, and the Long Island Speech- Language Hearing Association.

Marissa J Koch, MS, CCC-SLP,
Marissa earned a Bachelors and Masters os Sciences degree from Adelphi University. She is currently a speech language pathologist for the New York City Board Of Education at P48 in Jamaica, Queens, a division of district 75. She works with children in Kindergarten through second grade with a diagnosis of autism, Down syndrome, and learning disabilities. Marissa specializes in feeding therapy as well as augmentative and alternative communication skills including PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System). She also works part time at S.E.E.D.S. Marissa is ASHA certified and licensed by the State of New York as a Speech-Language Pathologist and a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD). She is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and the New York State Speech-Language Hearing Association (NYSSLHA).

Angela Truzzolino

Angela Truzzolino, MS, CCC-SLP, Certified in PROMPT Therapy
Angela earned a Bachelor’s degree from Queens College and a Master of Science degree in Speech/Language Pathology from Adelphi University. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. Angela is licensed by the State of New York as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and the New York State Speech-Language Hearing Association.She has completed the second level of PROMPT Training.



Briget Nerses

Bridget J. Nerses, MA, CCC-SL,
Bridget is a New York State licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She earnd her Bachelor's degree and a Master of Arts from St. John's University. Bridget holds an initial certificate for Teaching Students with Speech-Language Disabilities (TSSLD). Bridget is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), New York State Speech-Language Association (NYSSLHA) and the Long Island Speech-LanguageHearing Association (LISHA). Initially, Bridget joined our staff as an SLP in January 2010.


Fluency Consultant

Lori Melnitsky, MA, CCC-SLP
has been a Speech/Language Pathologist for over 20 years. Lori overcame a severe stuttering disorder to help other communicate and is a specialist in the field of stuttering and fluency. She is Lidcombe trained inthe EArly CHildhood Stuttering Program for preschool and school aged stuttering. Lori also received extensive training in fluency shaping and cognitive stuttering therapy for teens and adults. Lori is also PROMPT certified. She presently owns her own private practice and serves as a fluency consultant for S.E.E.D.S. of the Willistons.

Occupational Therapists

Keri Reilly

Keri M. Reilly, MS, OTR/L,
Keri is a licensed Occupational Therapist. She received her B.S. in psychology from Loyola College and her M.S. in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University. Keri is registered with the National Board of Certified Occupational Therapists (NBCOT) and a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). She has extensive experience working in the school system with children ages pre-school through middle school. Keri has additional training in Sensory Processing Disorder and Handwriting without Tears. She specializes in working with children with various diagnoses, including developmental delays, sensory integration disorders, ADHD, handwriting difficulties, autism, visual- perceptual difficulties, cerebral palsy, and various neurological disorders.

Special Education Teachers

Jillian BiancoJillian Bianco, MA
Jillian received her Masters in Teaching Elementary Education from Quinnipiac University in 2007, where she was the recipient of the Excellence in Teaching and Learning Award. Jillian also holds her certification in Special Education. She has been the Literacy Support Specialist at a local district school for the past four years and has worked as a tutor at SEEDS since 2009. Jillian has been trained in Fountas and Pinnell literacy curriculum and Wilson's FUNdations. She also works as a club moderator before and after school for her students as well as running extra help sessions for math and reading. She has been working with students at SEEDS in the subject areas of Literacy, Math and English Language Arts. Jillian is dedicated to working with her students at SEEDS to help them improve their self esteem and achieve their academic goals.

Social Worker Consultant

Diane Sweet, LCSW, ACSW,
is a New York State licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Adelphi University and a Masters in Social Work from Hunter College School of Social Work. She has worked for over 20 years providing therapeutic services to children and families in varying degrees.
